A look ahead at the FREEbies for Walgreens 8/7 - 8/13

So this coming week at Walgreens is not quite as freebie-crazy as we've seen in the past couple of weeks, but there are still a few great dealz that you should prep for.  I am hoping we'll see a few more coupons pop up over the next few days that will pad this out some more, since I saw quite a few deals shaking out to well under a dollar after Register Rewards.

You can see the complete recap of the best deals in the Walgreens ad for 8/7 - 8/13 in my previous post!

If you're new to shopping at Walgreens, be sure to learn all the ins and outs of shopping with Register Rewards, as outlined in Walgreens 101 in the above at the top of this site.

Month-long Walgreens freebie deals (available through 8/27)
  • Keri body lotion -- on sale for $5.99, with $5 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 7/17 Smartsource insert, and your bottle becomes a $1.01 moneymaker this week.  (Thanks to WildforWags for the info!)
  • Post Shredded Wheat cereal -- some stores carry the 9oz. boxes for $1.  Use this $1.00 off when you buy ONE box of POST Shredded Wheat Cereal to get yours for free.
Freebies in the Walgreens ad 8/7 - 8/13/11
  • Colgate 360 toothbrushes -- on sale 2 for $6, with $4 back in Register Rewards.  If you can get your hands on two copies of the $1 off coupon from the July 2011 issue of All You, both will be free!  Otherwise, use two copies of this 75 cents off coupon and pay a final price of a quarter each.
  • Crayola crayons -- on sale at Walgreens for $1, with $1 back in Register Rewards.  Fair warning: These are likely to sell out early on Sunday morning, so you might request a special order from your store this week if you want to stock up.  Otherwise, many stores re-stock on Wednesday or Thursday, so you could try making the rounds later on in the week.
  • Listerine Smart Rinse or Pocketpacs -- on sale for $3, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 7/31 Smartsource insert and yours are free.
