In memory of 9/11

I can hardly believe it has been 10 years since this tragic event unraveled.  Thinking back, I remember exactly where I was, and what I was doing when I heard the announcement over the radio.  May God bless the families during this time, and continue to stand beside them during their healing.

Please take the time out today to spend with your family.  As we know, each day is not a guarantee, but a gift from God.  Cherish it with the ones you love, and continue to appreciate...

I know! It is so hard to believe it has been 10 years. My husband had made that same comment about an hour ago. It almost seems like a dream but it isn't. I think back mostly on Flight 93 and of those people who knew for sure they were going to die but did what they did knowing they were not going to make it. I can only imagine their thoughts and hope that I would have been just as brave. I only hope that the other three airliners did not know until the end what was happening. It is beyond our imagination because we don't think like those terrorists, or at least, the ordinary American does not. I am sure our side has people who do but at least they do try to limit the civilian casualties as much as possible where these people give it no thought. I came over and followed you back thru GFC and Facebook. Be my guest and grab my button. I will get yours also and post on my site. Also, I was contacted by another blogger who is putting together a directory for bloggers and hopes to have it up sometime this week. I told her I would join and put the info on my site so check back later this week to see if she got it up and running so you can add yours to the directory also. She also wants guest articles or reviews or anything to post on there as well. So, be thinking of anything in the past or now that you would like her to put on that site. Thanks for stopping by! Hope the rest of the day is a good one.

Hi Mary, and thanks for visiting my site.

I agree, its almost like a bad dream... the anniversary of 9/11.

I am already a GFC follower of yours, and I am headed over now to exchange buttons. Please keep in contact and definitely let me know about the other blogger who is putting together a directory! I would be interested! Pass my name on to her if you would!

Thanks again Mary!
